The Sand House is quite unique, looking out over Donegal Bay and the 5 course dinner is of a high standard. The hotel is filled with antiques and no two rooms are the same. Rosnowllagh beach is just metres away and you sleep to the sound of the waves. It cost a few bob as we couldn't resist the dinner each evening for our 2 night stay.
Excellent location on brilliant beach---convenient to Donegal town, Ballyshannon & Bundoran. Friendly hotel staff & very good quality food in hotel restaurant. Rooms a little small & dated compared to recent modern hotels. Marine spa was out of order. However location and staff make up for any short comings
